High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to provide elevator modification to the existing service elevator and upgrade to the existing 2-stage fire alarm system in this existing 14-storey municipally designated heritage class "C" commercial building for CSA-B44 upgrade. Scope of work: - Existing two-stage addressable FACP to remain. - New addressable smoke detectors on the basement, main and penthouse level and in service elevator mechanical room. - 5 new addressable relays to be installed in elevator mechanical room. - Replace receptacles in elevator pit and mechanical room with GFCI receptacles. - Replace lighting in elevator pit with new LED lamp strip light and cages. - New elevator disconnect with new fuses and new feeder to new elevator controller. - Automatic emergency recall (main - ground floor, alternate - 3rd floor) - Programming of Elevator Recall and FEO functions. Notes: - Schedule B (Arch. & Elec.) schedule B submitted by A. J. Franklin, P.Eng. - Contractor shall have valid business license. - Evacuation plans for occupants to be updated. Main recall level is the main floor. Exit signage shall be posted to indicate the egress route.
