High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to upgrade two elevators in this 5-storey existing office building on this site. Proposed work in accordance with CSA B44-07 per VBBL Bulletin 2018-004 BU/EL includes modification to the existing fire alarm system including addition of new smoke detectors for facilitation of elevator recall. Scope of work includes voluntary upgrades to improve lighting and safety of access to elevator machine room, including construct new 2-hour FRR partition wall, 2-hour FRR mechanical bulkhead in exit stairs, and new rooftop mechanical unit (<1 HP) at exterior of elevator machine room to provide new ventilation.
