High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to replace existing single stage fire alarm panel and provide modernization of existing two elevators in this existing 14-storey mixed-use hotel(Hampton Inn) building for CSA-B44 upgrade. Scope of work: - Replace existing conventional FACP with new addressable panel and existing fire alarm annunciator to show automatic emergency elevator recall zones. - Upgrade electrical equipment for elevators in the machine rooms to suit new elevator power requirements. - Install new relays and upgrade existing FAS initiation devices to addressable type and to allow for activation of the automatic emergency elevator recall sequence. - Automatic emergency recall (main - ground floor, alternate - 3rd floor) - Programming of Elevator Recall and FEO functions. Building Review Branch Notes: - The room west to the elevator on the P1 level must not be used as a storage/ luggage room at any time and mean of egress from P1 elevator lobby to exit stair#3 must be free from any obstructions. - Schedule B - Arch. submitted by E.
